OSINT.SX Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OSINT.SX (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Service.

2. User Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use OSINT.SX.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Prohibited Conduct

Users are strictly prohibited from:

3.1 Harassment and Misuse

  • Using the platform to harass, stalk, intimidate, or target any individual or group
  • Attempting to collect personal information with the intent to harm, embarrass, or manipulate others
  • Engaging in any conduct that could reasonably be considered threatening or harmful

3.2 Data Collection and Scraping

  • Scraping, crawling, or systematically extracting data from OSINT.SX, except through the official API, within its limits
  • Using automated tools, scripts, or bots to access our Service, except through the official API, within its limits
  • Attempting to bypass our usage limits or authentication mechanisms
  • Reproducing, duplicating, copying, selling, or reselling any portion of the Service without explicit written permission

3.3 Legal and Ethical Violations

  • Using the Service for illegal activities
  • Violating local, state, national, or international laws
  • Infringing on intellectual property rights
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts

4. Intellectual Property

  • All content, features, and functionality are owned by OSINT.SX and are protected by intellectual property laws.
  • Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of our content without prior written consent.

5. Payments, Subscriptions, and Wallet

5.1 General

  • All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD). Payments are processed by Stripe and Heleket.
  • Search credits and wallet balances are a non-monetary, prepaid right to use the Service. They have no cash value, do not earn interest, and cannot be transferred, withdrawn, exchanged for currency, or sold. OSINT.SX is not a bank, money transmitter, custodian, or exchange.

5.2 Credit Purchases and Credit Packs

  • One-time credit purchases are charged immediately and credits are added to your account upon successful payment.
  • The number of credits a purchase includes is shown before you pay. Larger purchases may include more credits per dollar.
  • We sometimes test different prices, so the price of a purchase may differ between accounts. The price that applies to you is the one shown before you pay.
  • Purchases of $50 or more also include a daily allowance of free username searches and free tool searches for 30 days from the purchase, as shown before you pay. The allowance is part of that purchase, not a subscription: it does not renew, has no cash value, and may be withdrawn if the payment is refunded or reversed.
  • One-time purchases are final and non-refundable.

5.3 Card Subscriptions (Stripe)

  • Monthly subscriptions are no longer offered to new customers. Subscriptions started before October 14, 2026 continue under this section until they are canceled or end.
  • Subscriptions paid by card automatically renew on a monthly basis at the price disclosed at checkout, until canceled by you.
  • You may cancel at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to any remaining credits through that period.
  • Charges are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Unused credits do not roll over once a subscription is canceled or downgraded.

5.4 Cryptocurrency Wallet Deposits

  • You may add prepaid USD value to your account by sending cryptocurrency to an invoice generated by our payment provider, Heleket. The credited amount reflects the USD value reported by Heleket once the transaction confirms on-chain, net of provider fees.
  • All cryptocurrency deposits are final and non-refundable once credited. Due to the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions, OSINT.SX cannot reverse, refund, or convert wallet balances back to cryptocurrency.
  • You are responsible for sending the correct asset on the correct network as shown on the Heleket payment page. Funds sent to the wrong address or network may be permanently lost.

5.5 Wallet-Funded Subscriptions

  • Wallet-funded subscriptions are no longer offered to new customers. Subscriptions activated before October 14, 2026 continue under this section until they are canceled or end.
  • When a wallet-funded subscription was activated, its price was debited from your wallet and your account was credited with that month's allotment of search credits.
  • Wallet-funded subscriptions automatically renew every 30 days by debiting the renewal price from your wallet balance, until canceled by you.
  • If your wallet balance is insufficient at renewal time, the subscription enters a "past due" state and renewal is retried automatically. After three consecutive failed renewal attempts, the subscription is automatically canceled. You will not be charged any debt for failed crypto renewal attempts.
  • You may cancel a wallet-funded subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current 30-day period; previously debited amounts are non-refundable and the corresponding credits remain available through the end of the period.

5.6 Account Deletion and Forfeiture

  • If you delete your account, any remaining wallet balance, search credits, and active subscriptions are immediately and permanently forfeited.
  • If we suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, any remaining wallet balance and credits are forfeited and not refundable.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • OSINT.SX is provided "as is" without any warranties.
  • We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information obtained through our platform.

7. User Content and Responsibility

  • Users are solely responsible for the information they search for or obtain through OSINT.SX.
  • We strongly advise obtaining necessary permissions and complying with all relevant privacy laws and ethical guidelines.
  • OSINT.SX reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against violations of these Terms.

8. Termination

OSINT.SX reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate your account at our discretion
  • Refuse service to anyone for any reason
  • Modify or discontinue the Service with or without notice

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold OSINT.SX harmless from any claims, losses, liability, demand, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by the current version of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where OSINT.SX is registered, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
